Welcome to the garden

A Summer’s Day in the Cotswolds

Ananya and Tom are getting married in an old walled garden, in June, when the roses are at their best. There will be a marquee, strawberries and cream, lawn games, and long tables under the apple trees. Bring a hat. Bring a cardigan. Bring everyone.

What’s in the Bouquet

How it grew

Our Story

summer 2020

Two Bicycles, One Lane

A cycling trip with friends, a puncture on a country lane, and one person who actually knew how to fix it. She fixed it. He bought the cream tea. The rest of the group never caught up.

2021 – 2025

Picnics, Mostly

Every sunny weekend on a blanket somewhere — parks, meadows, once a very wet beach. We own four picnic baskets. We regret nothing.

Under the Apple Tree

In the garden we are getting married in, under the oldest apple tree, with blossom coming down like confetti. He had a speech ready. He forgot all of it. She said yes anyway.

Travel & Stay

The garden is two hours from London, deep in the Cotswolds. Honey-stone villages, narrow lanes, and not much phone signal — that is the charm.

Questions & Answers

What should I wear?

Summer garden formal — light colours, linen, florals, hats welcome. Avoid stilettos; the lawn will eat them.

What if it rains?

Everything moves into the marquee, and there are umbrellas at every door. It is England; we planned for it.

Is there vegetarian food?

Yes — most of supper is vegetarian, and the kitchen will happily cook Jain or vegan if you tell us.

Do I need a visa?

Indian passport holders need a UK Standard Visitor visa. Ask us for an invitation letter.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please check your invitation — if a guest is included, their name will be on it.

Still have a question?

Both families are happy to help — call or WhatsApp either of us.
